Take flight with iFly

Make your dreams of flying a reality with iFly and Army&You as you are suspended in a column of air, which reproduces the feeling of freefall. Get kitted up ready for action then feel your legs lift as your instructor guides you through flying skills including moving up and down and turning.

Enter our giveaway to be in with the chance of winning a family flight experience for up to five people (ten flights to share), priced up to £219.99, at iFly’s tunnels in Manchester, Milton Keynes or Basingstoke.

Save 40 per cent on iFly Christmas gift vouchers at www.iflyworld.co.uk

Terms and conditions
All flyers will need to complete a waiver form before their flight experience. Participants must weigh less than 300 pounds and any participants weighing between 260-300 pounds must bring this to the attention of an iFly representative as additional restrictions and instructor scheduling limitations may apply. Flyers can be as young as three years of age and there is no upper age limit. Children under 18 need to have a parent or guardian sign their waiver. It’s almost always possible to fly if you have a disability which is physical, but it’s advisable to contact the centre in advance to discuss your specific needs. There are also some other health restrictions. Please see details on the iflyworld.co.uk website. Suitable clothing will be required and items of jewellery will need to be removed during your flight – glasses can be worn as iFly have larger goggles that fit over eyeglasses.

Required reading

Starting nursery or pre-school can be tough on both you and your little one, especially if there has been some separation anxiety. The My Tiny Book series is a fantastic resource to support you and your child while going through these major changes. I’m Going to Nursery is the first in the series and has interactive pages and illustrations to help your family through the experience.

We have five copies of I’m Going to Nursery (retailing at £9.99) to give away.

See page 16 of our winter edition to read author Stacey Turner’s story.

Perfect pillowcases

Ginger Rainbow, created by Army spouse Amy Nolan, offers you and your children the chance to get creative while your soldier is away by colouring in your very own unique pillowcase to send to them.

These pillowcases are a personal, vibrant way of staying in touch and sending a little bit of home to your soldier, wherever they find themselves posted.

You can win one of two pillowcase sets, usually costing £15 each.
