Financial support when it’s needed most
Recovery can bring unexpected financial pressures. Hospital stays, nursing care, convalescence, travel linked to recovery or temporary help at home can all create additional expenses at a time when your focus should be on getting better.
After six months of membership, members can apply for financial support towards costs linked to unexpected illness or injury, including nursing expenses, hospital accommodation, convalescence and help at home while they recover.
These include:
- Temporary residence in a hospital or nursing home
- Home nursing from qualified nurses or carers
- Recovery costs under medical advice, including travel expenses
- Temporary home help, including cleaning, shopping and essential errands
Members can claim up to £8,000 per year towards the cost of support following unexpected illness or injury.
Membership for individuals and families
Lady Grover offers both Individual and Family Membership.
Individual Membership is available for serving and former members of the UK Armed Forces who want the reassurance of knowing financial support may be available if unexpected illness or injury strikes.
For those with partners or dependants, Family Membership extends that reassurance further, helping to protect the people who matter most.
Whether you are single, married, serving, retired or supporting a military household, membership offers a simple and affordable way to strengthen your financial safety net.
Affordable peace of mind
Membership starts from just £65 per year for those under 50, with tiered pricing for older age groups.
For little more than £1.25 a week, members have the reassurance of knowing that, if the unexpected happens, financial support may be available to help with the practical costs of recovery.
