PUPILS and staff at Salisbury’s Chafyn Grove sprung into action during the last school term to raise almost £900 for The Gurkha Welfare Trust.

A series of money-spinning spring term events – including ever-popular school discos – helped the Chafyn community to collect £890.72, which was presented to the charity by Head boy Charlie and Head girls Sophie and Honour.
