ALL minds were on mental health when Salisbury’s Chafyn Grove school held a wellness week.

The event saw staff and guest speakers encouraging children to pay attention to their wellbeing as they learned new techniques to maintain good mental health.

Among the visitors to the school were educationalist James Shone, of I Can & I Am, who spoke about his personal story and passion for self-worth in all children, and Olympian Steph Collins, who shared her top tips on fitness and the “growth mindset”.

Emotional Literacy Support Assistants Network-trained Ali McEwan ran workshops for pupils, while Victoria Whittley gave a powerful talk about mental health and people’s responsibilities to one another.
