Is your family part of the UK armed forces community? A new project from King’s College London Centre for Military Health Research (KCMHR) is after your contributions and would love to hear from you!

‘Real Stories’ is a new online gallery of images submitted by military-connected families to reflect family life today. Anybody who is related or in a partnership with somebody who is serving or has served in the armed forces can submit an image and take part in the exhibition.

The virtual gallery aims to be educational and informative, to help raise awareness and understanding within the public perception of the forces community. Real Stories provides the opportunity to view your experiences through your own lens and presented in a way of your choosing.

There’s also an opportunity to include a written contribution to go alongside your submission about what the image represents or means to you, which will be presented in their Reflections booklet – comments can remain anonymous if you wish.

Contributions are welcome from serving and ex-serving families. Contributors must be aged 18+ but adults can submit entries on behalf of children under 18.
