NEW College in Swindon is offering an Access to Higher Education Health Professionals qualification, delivered purely by distance learning so there’s no requirement to attend college – making it an ideal option for Service families.
The qualification helps those who want to move into nursing, midwifery or other health-related sectors but don’t have the required entry qualifications for university. It’s perfect if you are moving around, don’t have access to transport, are starting to think about a career or your children are getting older and your partner is due to leave the military.
Importantly, as it’s also funded by the Advanced Learner Loan, course fees are not going to be a barrier. You can start studying at any time and you’ll have six-to-12 months to complete the course.
