SERVICE children’s charity Little Troopers is asking everyone to start making plans for Fundraise February.

The charity has chosen Valentine’s month to encourage everyone to do something fun and raise money to help them provide support to children with a parent serving in the British Armed Forces.

Louise Fetigan, founder and operations manager of Little Troopers, said: “I am always so chuffed to see the things that people plan for the fundraising month.

“This year will be our fifth Fundraise February and we want as many people as possible to get involved. In the past we’ve had support from banks, schools, coffee morning groups and even our Little Troopers, who have baked cakes, arranged collections and washed cars to raise funds.

“February is a great month to fundraise for our charity as it is the love between a parent and child that keeps families bonded despite the time they spend apart.”

Little Troopers provides information, resources and events to help keep a child and serving parent connected during long training courses and deployments.

To get involved, email info@LittleTroopers.net for your fundraising pack.
