A toolkit is now available to help schools boost their support for service children.

Thriving Lives has been created by the Service Children’s Progression (SCiP) Alliance and partners across the UK after gathering evidence through its ‘Year of the service child voice’ project. Based on a framework of seven principles, it includes an introductory animation; a detailed resource showing what schools can do to support their service children and who can help, plus case studies.

AFF contributed to the evidence and research: “It’s an exciting development for schools and gives them the tools to best support our service children,” says AFF education & childcare specialist, Anna Hutchinson. “Extensive research and collaboration have taken place to ensure that the values underpinning this toolkit will help to drive forward best practice.”
