THIS October, come and join the SSAFA family for a fun-filled break open exclusively to military families with children who have additional needs and disabilities – and siblings are welcome too.

The Family Break, which is supported by the Annington Trust, is being held in Exmoor and runs from Monday 21 October to Friday 25 October. There are 50 spaces available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Calvert Trust is a fully-accessible centre which ‘enables people with physical, learning, behaviour and sensory disabilities to experience exciting, challenging and enjoyable outdoor activities’, giving you the opportunity to spend quality time together while challenging yourselves through outdoor activities and seeing each other achieve.

In a beautiful setting overlooking a Devon reservoir, with three hot meals a day provided, you can bond over activities such as kayaking, sailing, archery, abseiling, horse riding and bush craft.

If you are interested in attending, get in touch with Frances Robinson, additional needs and disability adviser, at ANDA@ssafa.org.uk or call 0207 463 9315.
