RISING ballet star and award-winning actress Natasha Watson (20) and Jade Scott (13) gave moving accounts of the support they received when it was most needed, at a charity reception for Royal Caledonian Education Trust (RCET) on the occasion of its move to Scotland.

Natasha, from Falkirk, and Jade, from Drumchapel, each spoke of the support they had received from the RCET and the enormous difference it had made to their young lives.

Natasha, now a teacher and choreographer at Ballet West in Taynuilt in Argyll, regularly performs with the Scottish Ballet and the English National Ballet and will be dancing the lead role in Ballet West’s Swan Lake, which is touring Scotland early next year.

RCET has been supporting the educational needs of children of Scottish Armed Forces personnel for more than 200 years.
