JOIN SSAFA for a family fun-filled adventure break this autumn! The Service charity is offering a free mid-week residential holiday to military families with children who have an additional need or disability.

Running from Monday 26 October – Friday 30 October 2020 at The Calvert Trust, there are 60 spaces available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Calvert Trust is a fully accessible centre which “enables people with physical, learning, behaviour and sensory disabilities to experience exciting, challenging and enjoyable outdoor activities”. The aim is to give military families the opportunity to spend quality time together whilst challenging themselves through outdoor activities and seeing each other achieve.

A previous attendee of one of SSAFA’s breaks, said: “I want to say thank you for this opportunity. Normally I wouldn’t think of doing an activity trip, because I need to think of the whole family, but I would recommend this to everyone.”

Hosted in a beautiful setting overlooking a Devon reservoir and with three hot meals a day provided, families can bond over daily activities such as riding, kayaking, sailing, archery, abseiling and bush craft.
