This October half term, the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire is hosting autumn activities for families. The 150-acre gardens and wooded estate is free to enter and explore, allowing visitors to reflect and remember.
Full of autumn colours, the site is a beautiful backdrop to activities including an autumn outdoor activity trail (charged event, £2.50 pp), a Stick Man outdoor trail, a sensory storytelling workshop, as well as arts and crafts activities using natural materials.
Rachel Smith, Head of Participation and Learning at the National Memorial Arboretum said, “Whether exploring the autumn landscape on our trails or crafting with natural materials, there’s something to inspire and entertain visitors of all ages.”
