DESIGNER Alice Naomi Somauroo has launched an exciting competition to win a unique dress inspired by the award winning Hope on the Horizon garden, which won a Silver Gilt medal at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show and was voted People’s Choice.

After hearing about the garden, she decided to fundraise for The Heroes Garden Project which aims to landscape Chavasse VC Recovery Centre in Colchester.

Perfect for your next mess do

Alice worked with Help for Heroes Patron, Peta Cavendish, to design a dress based on Peta’s favourite flower.

She said: “Our Heroes work so hard for us and now is my chance to give something back to thank them. Matt Keightley’s design for the Hope on the Horizon garden at the Chelsea Flower Show is so beautiful and reflects my own passion and belief that a flower doesn’t go out of fashion.”

A garden fit for heroes

The Hope on the Horizon garden represents the path of recovery taken by our wounded, injured and sick soldiers, veterans and their families.

It’s now being installed at Chavasse VC House as part of The Heroes Garden Project, a £100,000 appeal to transform the Recovery Centre’s garden into a peaceful haven.
