THERE is something special coming to Garsington Opera’s main stage in Stockenchurch – and Army families are invited to get involved.
The Buckinghamshire-based community company is putting on a large-scale production, involving more than 180 community members who will perform alongside a professional orchestra and singers, from 28-30 July 2017.
Something for everyone
Silver Birch: A People’s Opera is an original story about courage, aspiration and aiming high, bringing modern-day themes and issues of war and family to the forefront. A production for all the family, roles available include singing, acting, backstage and front of house. The company is especially seeking male members.
Participants must be aged 16 or over and all members of the Armed Forces community are welcome, including family members and those transitioning out of the Army.
