SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity, is encouraging all tri-Service families who have relatives with additional needs to attend a biennial conference on 11 June at MOD main building, London.

The year’s FANDF conference will have a ‘Myth Busting’ theme, aiming to share knowledge and experience between experts and fellow families, and will be a great opportunity to meet others in similar situations, speak to relevant professionals and gather useful information.

Speakers will include Sue Smyth, parent support officer and Children’s Education Advisory Service team leader; Susan Howsen from DIO; Lisa Ireland, assistant head welfare, SP Support, Chief of Defence People; and Collin Morris, partner support manager at the Department for Work and Pensions.

For more information or to sign up to attend, contact the SSAFA Additional Needs and Disability advisor on ANDA@ssafa.org.uk or call 0207 463 9315.
