The year 4 pupils at Le Cateau Community Primary School in North Yorkshire assembled a beautiful Remembrance service for the whole school community. The children paid their respects to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for their country and for the nation’s continued freedom.

Each year group laid a wreath, made by the children, and joined together with parents, special guests and members of our armed forces community to pay their respects to the fallen.

In addition, they raised nearly £300 for the Royal British Legion through cake and refreshment sales. If you would like more information about the Royal British Legion and the Festival of Remembrance, please go to The Royal British Legion | Armed Forces Charity
