The Enquiries Team at AFF is the first point of contact for those who need to get in touch about any aspect of army family life.

The team has been working hard recently to streamline its processes and more importantly its database, so that it can gather evidence and information to ensure you get the best support. The ‘ask a question’ tab on our website has proved an especially popular means of getting in touch recently.

The Enquiries Team is led by Manager England Carole Rudd, who says: “The variety of enquiries the team answers on a daily basis is amazing. They are knowledgeable, empathetic and always willing to help.”

The team, Natalie, Alice and Emma, currently work Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5pm and Friday 8.30am-1pm. Don’t worry if you are unable to contact them during these hours, the team regularly monitors and triages the mailbox and database throughout the day and will respond as quickly as possible.

Natalie says, “I’ve been working for AFF for nearly three years. I really enjoy the variety of enquiries we see on our team; no two days are ever the same! I love speaking to people and have a passion for helping so please don’t hesitate to reach out to us. No question is ever too small or silly!”

Alice says, “Since joining the Enquiries Team at AFF in February 2023, I’ve loved supporting army families with timely and accurate information. Working alongside this fantastic team, we ensure that your enquiries are handled thoroughly and efficiently. Our team is super approachable, making it easy for families to reach out with any questions. Being a part of the enquiries team is varied because every day brings different challenges. It’s just like a box of chocolates – you never know what you’re going to get!”

Emma says, “I joined AFF as an Enquiries Assistant last year. I’ve been blown away by how supportive and knowledgeable my colleagues are. So far, I’ve learnt that no two days are the same and I’m enjoying the variety of enquiries that come through to us. My job is to answer any questions you may have or put you in touch with one of our specialist teams. If there’s anything that you need help with, please get in touch with us, we’re a very friendly team and are more than happy to help!”
