Something only military families will understand

As a forces wife everything constantly changes
The size of my house and the number on its door
The name of the street I live in
The town or even the country I live in
The job I do, or whether I work at all
The people that surround me
The accents around me
The activities I partake in and the clubs I join
The places to visit and the places to shop
The only constant in my life is my family
My husband, my one and only
21 years of marriage, 12 houses, 3 children
And my children
3 of them with 21 schools between them
It’s the constants in my life
The other women in the same position
That make it bearable
Keep me strong and keep me smiling
Making the fun times memorable
And the hard times worth it.
