MEMBERS of the Armed Forces are being offered discounted tickets to screenings of a new film which portrays the real-life drama faced by British soldiers in Afghanistan.
Kajaki The True Story depicts the harrowing situation faced by personnel, mostly from 3rd Battalion, The Parachute Regiment (3 Para), who were trapped in a minefield while stationed at the Kajaki Dam in 2006.
The film premieres at Vue Cinemas and the chain is offering a 20 per cent discount on ticket prices for holders of a standard Forces ID.
