THERE are just five free spaces remaining for Armed Forces children for this summer’s Annington Challenge, with applications closing on 22 May.

Since 2012, The Annington Trust has been working with The Outward Bound Trust offering children aged between 11 and 19 from military families the chance to take part in an Outward Bound Summer Adventure.

The seven-day residential courses take place in the Lake District, Snowdonia or the Scottish Highlands and involve a wide range of fun outdoor activities such as camping, gorge scrambling and sea kayaking. They are also an opportunity to discover new places, develop skills and experience challenge and adventure.

The Summer Adventure is funded by The Annington Trust with a small contribution of £50 from applicants.
