AFF is calling on Army families in Scotland to take part in its latest survey to help inform us about the issues families face and any unique circumstances a Scottish posting poses.

Families’ feedback will help to shape the charity’s upcoming Scotland roadshow, which takes place on 23 March in Kinloss.

Army family life

AFF Regional Manager North Annabel Ingram said: “We’re really keen to learn more about Army family life in Scotland and how a Scottish posting compares to postings in other areas.

“Our surveys really do make a difference. From ensuring the families’ voice is heard by decision makers to achieving policy changes in their favour, the evidence we receive is vital for us to maintain our support of Army families.”

AFF is asking families for information on a range of topics including housing, employment and childcare as well as gathering evidence on how the recent changes to tax thresholds could unfairly disadvantage serving families in Scotland.

We are keen to hear about families’ biggest challenges, as well as the best bits of a Scottish posting.
