Army&You guest reviewer and Army wife Emma Matthias is based in Kinloss with her soldier and her two small boys. She tried out these ethically produced muslins from SewLomax

suelomax-3When the muslins arrived I was impressed by the stylish packaging and the easy to follow instructions.

The material is 100 per cent cotton and you can certainly tell, not only by its comfort and thickness but by the quality after it has been washed.

The muslins are lightweight and soft and obviously offer enough security as my son Brodie (right) loves being swaddled in them.

At three months old he does dribble a little; I’ve found they withstand this as well as any material bib I have.

That, along with the size of the muslin, makes this product my first choice when feeding him. He will drift off after a feed and already has the perfect light blanket around him.

The extra absorbency means I don’t feel the need to replace the muslin for a fresh bib, therefore not disturbing him any more than I need to.

This product is now the new must-have accessory in his changing bag. I don’t leave home without one. I will be purchasing more for myself and as gifts for friends.

Muslin sets come in three designs in a choice of two sizes and three colour options (pretty pink, boisterous blue and gorgeous green) priced £26 (large) or £12.50 (small). To see the full range, go to www.sewlomax.com
