THE Help for Heroes Colossal Cake Sale once again took off across the UK this year, and sales at Help for Heroes Recovery Centres were no exception!

Cake sales took place in Phoenix House, Catterick, Chavasse VC House, Colchester and Tedworth House, Tidworth, in support of the final weeks of the National Colossal Cake Sale Campaign.

Tedworth House went the extra mile in preparing for their sale by hosting a cupcake decorating class open to members of the Band of Sisters who wanted to hone their skills in preparation for the cake sale they were supporting.

It was also a hive of activity at Chavasse VC House as residents and Band of Brothers and Sisters took to whisking, baking, icing and decorating an array of delicious cupcakes and brownies. Celebrity patron Peta Cavendish also popped by to give a helping hand!

Those getting involved baked cakes, biscuits, muffins, sponges, fruitcakes and more, with more than a few willing helpers to gobble everything up!

Keep an eye on the Help for Heroes website at www.helpforheroes.org.uk for details of other fundraising events taking place this year.
